Default scoring

Defaults include a 60-second chat cooldown, 100 chat awards per member per UTC day, 20 punishment awards per moderator per UTC day, and 10 accepted-report awards per reporter per UTC day. The owner or delegated settings editor can change rates, limits and excluded channels in server configuration. Bots, webhooks and system messages do not earn chat points. Excluding a parent channel also excludes its threads. A zero chat cooldown scores every otherwise eligible message; setting an event’s rate to zero stops that kind of award.

Integrity rules

Submitting a report earns nothing by itself. Rejected reports and unsuccessful moderation do not qualify. Unique event identifiers prevent duplicate awards. Repeated punishment of the same target/type/rule by the same moderator earns at most one qualifying award per UTC day. Successful punishment points go to the recorded executor. For an owner-approved Ban, that can be the owner who actually approves and executes it. New rates apply to future awards; older activity is not recalculated automatically.

Reversals and corrections

Revoking a punishment record or withdrawing an accepted report creates a review or reclaims its award according to the configured cancellation policy. Manual score changes require contribution.adjust, a reason, the applicable quota and another lower-ranked target. Clawback reviews require contribution.review. Review records and audit entries preserve the explanation. Meeting a score threshold makes a member eligible to request a rank; it is not automatic owner approval or a guarantee of a staff appointment.
