# Discord command reference

> The current 28 operational and query commands.

Settings are managed in the dashboard. These 28 leaf commands remain in Discord. Action access is checked against current AEGIS permissions, ownership and Discord role hierarchy; command visibility alone is not authorization.

## Moderation and reports

| Command | Purpose |
| - | - |
| `/punish user` | Select an active rule and request kick, timeout or owner-approved Ban |
| `/punish warn` | Record a rule-based warning and attempt a DM |
| `/punish revoke-record` | Revoke a record and review/reclaim its contribution award |
| `/report user` | Submit a private member report; ordinary members can report |
| `/report status` | Read your own report's status |
| `/report handle` | Accept or dismiss a report with a note |

## Protection and server queries

| Command | Purpose |

| `/lockdown start` | Actual owner starts the saved Lockdown policy |
| `/lockdown stop` | Actual owner restores the active Lockdown snapshot |
| `/server info` | Read the server's bot configuration summary |
| `/server check` | Diagnose bot configuration and channel/role requirements |
| `/user info` | Read the user information permitted to the caller |
| `/user flags` | Read authorized security-signal history |
| `/rules list` | Open the server rules website |
| `/permit list` | Read configured rank priorities, permissions and linked roles |
| `/blacklist status` | Read blacklist history and site warning status |
| `/blacklist stats` | Read the shared blacklist overview |

## Requests, appeals and staff

| Command | Purpose |

| `/blacklist-case request` | Request user/server registration |
| `/blacklist-case appeal` | Appeal your user entry or an owned server's entry |
| `/blacklist-case status` | Read and respond to your case |
| `/blacklist-case review` | Site administrator reviews a case |
| `/staff rank` | Read your current rank, priority and score |
| `/staff list` | Read rank definitions and direct appointments |
| `/staff promote` | Request a reviewed promotion of a lower-ranked member |
| `/staff demote` | Request a reviewed demotion/removal of staff access |
| `/contribution status` | Read your contribution totals and recent awards |
| `/promotion request` | Apply for a configured rank after meeting its score requirement |
| `/promotion status` | Read your promotion request history |
| `/promotion review` | Review a request; privileged access requires the actual owner |

## Removed configuration commands

Configure through the website instead of `/setup`, `/antinuke setup`, `/antinuke whitelist`, `/lockdown setup`, `/rules add`, `/rules remove`, `/permit grant` or `/permit revoke`. Old setup-message buttons are not the current configuration interface.

For a rule ID or rank ID, use the relevant rules/rank page. Discord's command picker displays the available parameters for the running bot version.
